The Braid Hills walk is easily accessible by car the hills are occupied by golf courses. From the golf car park you can head through the gap in the fence and follow Hermitage of Braid nature reserve Hermitage of Braid nature reserve path to the view point where you will see great views of the city.

The Pentlands

1. The Pentalnd hills have loads of walking trails and reservoirs making this one of the most popular dog walking destinations close to Edinburgh. With parking available in different locations of the hills there is a great walk to Harlaw reservoir with the car park and visitors centre located near Balerno.

Inverleith Park

Located in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh the park hosts large open spaces perfect for off the leash games. A short walk to Stockbridge high street has great cafes and also a Dofos store so pop in and say "Hi" if you are in the area!

Cramond Beach is located on the north side of the city just 6 miles from the city centre. The long beach has a large car park, public toilets and a historic pub with large fields and walks up the river almond makes Cramond beach very popular with dog walkers.
